- Welcome Back!
-
- Dear Third Grade Families,
-
- Hello and welcome to Third Grade at Ambrit! We are enjoying
these first few days together and are looking forward to an
exciting and productive year with your child. Below we have
outlined important information and details regarding some third
grade routines.
-
- Please begin the year with the following items:
- (It is advisable to mark all of your child's belongings with
their name):
- 1. A backpack
- 2. An old t-shirt or smock for art class
- 3. A small lunch box for snack/lunch.
- 4. A water bottle.
-
- For schoolwork, your child will need:
- 1. Two Binders:
- ¥ 1 small A4 size (2 or 4-ring) binder
- (which will be used as a homework and correspondence folder).
- ¥ 1 large A4 size (2-ring) binder with a case
- (which will remain in the classroom and store your child's
work).
- 2. 40 plastic page protectors
- 3. An A4 size clip board.
-
- * We request that these items be in by Monday, September 15th.
-
- Food:
- Children should bring a healthy snack for mid-morning. Fruit,
yogurt, juice, etc. are fine, but no candy or sweets please.
-
- Sickness:
- Please do not send medications of any kind with your child. If
your child is not fit enough to play outside, please keep him/her
at home since children cannot be supervised in the classroom
during playtime. If your child has any specific medical
conditions, please inform the school nurse.
-
-
- Contact:
- The easiest way to contact us is by sending a note with your
child. You may also leave a message with the school secretary:
(06.55.95.305)
-
- Homework:
- Please check your child's binder DAILY for school notices and
homework. In third grade, you will notice an increase in homework.
We ask that you provide a quiet, comfortable place for your child
to study and assist them in establishing a regular homework
routine. We will be sending home more detailed information about
the third grade homework policy in the coming weeks.
-
- Bus:
- If you have planned a change in your child's bus schedule,
please send in a note so we can accurately account for children at
the end of the day.
-
- Birthdays:
- If your child would like to celebrate her/his birthday with a
special treat in class, please schedule the day with me in
advance. It is best to send individual pre-cut treats along with
the appropriate supplies.
-
- We are very excited about the upcoming year and look forward
to meeting you all! There will be a class meeting the first week
of October. We will be sending another note home soon regarding
the specific date and time.
-
- Kind Regards,
-
- Mr. Gerard Vigneault
