The three Rs should always be used because the earth is very polluted and it’s the human’s fault so we should do something about it. The first is Reduce. Reduce everything like water. When you exit a room turn off the lights. Reduce the gas of cars by not using cars and walk or use a bike, which doesn’t pollute. Use a bus because usually there is one person in each car and there are too many cars, which is bad for the environment. The second is Reuse. Reuse paper or plastic bags you could reuse a piece of paper and use both sides. Reuse clothes by giving clothes that don’t fit anymore and give them to your younger sister or brother. The third is Recycle. Recycle paper and bottles. At home everyone should have three different containers. 1 for the paper, 1 for the plastic, containers and bottles and 1 for the rest that you don’t recycle like food. Everyone should Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for the earth and to not pollute the environment. This is very necessary because no good things are going to happen. REUSE: don’t wash lots of laundry every day, you can put on pants and t-shirts twice. The water you use to wash salad can be given to plants. All the food left-overs can be used as fertilizers. In your house you should have three garbage cans: one for paper, one for plastic and metal and one for all the rest. Recycling is something everyone can and should do. These help the world to change and to destroy pollution. Reducing means to do things like not to waste too much water. For example taking a shower and turning off the water when it is not needed. That is reduction. Reusing means to use things again and not to waste stuff that in this case creates pollution. An example is to use (reuse) plastic bags or else they will cause a lot of pollution because plastic takes thousands of years to disintegrate. This is reusing. Recycling is a kind of cycle that consists reusing paper. Recycling consists the use of three kinds of plastic stuff like bags: paper, plastic, glass and metals and food. An example is if you see trash on the ground like glass don’t leave it there or just throw it in a place where it ruins the environment just find a trash can for it and throw it in. A Better World By Andrea Hi today I’m going to talk about the three r’s, reduce, recycle and reuse. They’ re very important things that could help the world and the world’s atmosphere. Reduce, reduce is very important, you can reduce using the car and walk sometimes I’m not saying always but sometimes walk if you ask why should somebody go in car is because cars have fumes and fume is a kind of pollution not only for the world but even for the atmosphere the imaginary shield that protects the world to the sun. another example don’t go a lot to burger king or Mac Donald’s because they use a lot of paper, but electricity some people use to much electricity if you don’t need light don’t use it is only a waste of electricity. Recycle, recycle is also very important for nature because if you don’t recycle you make cut down trees because paper is made from trees and you can use paper to do anything you can but why should you throw it away when if you think about it you can use it another time instead of make cut down trees, o another example in every city there are three kind of trashcans in the city a blue a green and a white don’t put the glass that goes in the blue in the green. Reuse is also very important you could reuse a plastic reuse paper comes from trees and if you don’t reuse you make cut trees an that ‘s not helpful for nature . Reuse plastic bags plastic is made from chemicals. For example you use a plastic bag to eat when you finish to eat don’t throw away the plastic but use it again. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle By Chiara If we look around we see cars polluting the air, rivers filled with trash, people smocking and lots of other bad things that don’t help the environment. Can we make the world healthier? Yes, we can. If every one does even a little part our environment would change into a better place. We can start by reducing, reusing and recycling. Reducing is another way we can help our planet. We should reduce because many things we use or make pollute the earth: cars, cigarettes and all of the water we waste, but these are only a few examples. Cars pollute the planet because the fumes that come out are harmful to the environment. If we want less pollution we should use more public transport because cars damage much more the air. Reusing is very important. An example is paper if you use both sides you will need one less and the paper you didn’t use could damage even more the environment because paper comes from trees. Reducing is a problem to a lot of countries so this problem has to be solved. Reducing can help the world. Reusing is a good thing because instead of buying stuff you conserve it. Maybe everyone could stop polluting everything and make the world a better place. There are the three R’s to help: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. If you want to Reduce, you could walk instead of using a car all the time. You could switch off the lights to save more energy. Also you could make things instead of buying them. Second is Reuse. You should reuse secondhand items and plastic bags instead of buying them. Also, reuse paper like if someone wrote on one side, just use the other side. Lastly is Recycle. What would be a big help is if you recycle paper, cans and glass. Some people recycle cans and metal and turn it into aluminum that they use again for different things. How to Stop Pollution By Jakob Right now the world is a very messed up place. There is lots of pollution going on caused by industries, cutting down trees, rivers and lakes being polluted. This problem is tearing the world apart, it is a huge problem but everyone can help by going the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, And Recycle. We can reduce the amount of what we use and try not to waste. Everyone can reduce. In fact it’s easy, just don’t be sloppy and don’t forget things like turning of the lights or the water tap. You can also help by using public transport and walking whenever you can to stop air pollution. We also must reuse in order to save the environment. Reusing is a very easy thing to do but you must still do it. Reusing is doing easy stuff like using the back of a paper, using plastic shopping bags again and buying second hand items. Recycling is something were you can help a lot but not do it yourself. In order to help recycling you can do things like separating your trash. How to Help By Jade To help our environment become a better place, we need to stop polluting the world. We have to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This way we can help use our resources wisely. To reduce, you could use less water by not overflowing your glass, not putting the water on at full blast when you’re washing your hands or doing the dishes or you could fill the dishwasher all the way up with dishes instead of half way before putting it on. You could switch the lights of when you’re done in a room, only switching the lights on if it’s necessary or you could do more reading instead of playing on the computer or watching television. To reuse, you could buy second-hand things like cars or toys. When you go shopping, conserve the plastic bag so you can use it the next time you go shopping. If you don’t want something that can still be used, give it to a second-hand shop or if you have bought a water bottle, keep it, so next time you can fill it up and take it with you instead of buying a new one. To recycle, you can throw things away so they can be used again. In our house we recycle paper by putting it in a separate bag to the trash. Here are some things you can do to help the environment. There called the three R’s. The three r’s are reduce, reuse, and recycle. Each of the three r’s helps to save the environment. I will tell you a little bit about the three r’s. Reduce is the first of the trio. You can reduce by only buying things with very little or no plastic wrapping, or by turning off the lights when not in the house. Also try not having very long showers as to reduce use of water. The second r is reuse. Try reusing by buying second hand stuff or buying a rain-barrel to water the houseplants. The last of the three r’s is recycle. When you go to the bins you can recycle a lot of things such as glass, aluminum, some plastics and paper. You can recycle at home by using old school notebooks as drawing books. The first thing you can do is to reduce. To reduce id to use less, for example reduce smoke by driving less or stop throwing trash every were and poring toxic liquids in lakes, seas and rivers. Save Our Planet by Saskia Have you ever looked around only to see garbage everywhere? I think your eyes have seen this often. Have you ever thought you could help? Well everyone can, if you do these things: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! Look around you there are cars everywhere that pollute the air. There are also a lot of dirty things in rivers and lakes. That’s because people don’t have enough energy to walk to the nearest trashcan. So everyone can help by just doing their little part. You can reduce all sorts of things. If a friend lives around the corner from you, you don’t have to use a car you can easily walk a short distance. During the weekend you have a lot of spare time try making things instead of buying them. When you leave a room always turn the lights off to save electricity. Don’t ever waste water so wear your clothes more than once or take shorter showers or turn the water off when it’s not needed. You can reuse a lot of different things. If you go to a second hand shop everything you see has been used by someone else. If you buy these items instead of brand new items factories will make les and use les materials. When you go shopping you get plastic bags, you could keep them and use them next time you go shopping. If you are working things out n a piece of paper or taking notes use both sides of the paper. The trees need your help so reuse! You can recycle all sorts of stuff, like paper, glass, plastic, metal and batteries. If you throw them all in the same trashcan they cant be recycled because nobody likes to sort trash, so put them in separate trashcans. If you don’t there will be trash everywhere! Trash gets burned and that pollutes the air, if you recycle somebody else will use the same piece of paper and less trees will be cut down. These are some ways we can save the environment, it’s easy you can try to help in your spare time. If we don’t help fast our planet will be destroyed, so HELP!! We should reduce the amount of water we use for example: short showers instead of long warm baths. We should also reuse certain things for example: when going to a supermarket bring your own plastic bag and refuse if they offer a pair. We should, most of all recycle all sorts of garbage including glass bottles, plastic and paper. In many countries in Europe there are different garbage cans made for plastic, glass, and paper, carton etc. If the world could follow these 3 Rs then the world could be healthier and a happier place than now. |
