The Trip to Pompeii
 
I finally came back home from my fifth grade trip to Pompeii. There were many good things about this trip, but there were also some bad things. Everything was going fine, until we arrived at the hotel on the first day where I fractured my wrist.
The first thing that I liked the most is that Pompeii and Herculaneum are very interesting places to visit. The second thing is that we got to shop at the top of Mt. Vesuvius so I bought many souvenirs for my family and myself.
The first thing that I hated the most about this field trip is that we had to walk so much in the hot sun. The second thing that I hated is that I slipped on the floor and fractured my wrist. The floor that I slipped on was made out of marble and was extremely slippery.
I had lots of fun with my friends and teachers on Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum. However, because of my fractured wrist, I couldn’t carry too much stuff while traveling and my wrist hurt a few times.
