Our trip to Pompeii
Yesterday we came back from a fun, interesting but also VERY
exhausting field trip. We went to Pompeii, Herculaneum and we climbed
Mount Vesuvius. We stayed in a Hotel in Sorrento which was called
Hotel Villa Maria.
Two things I liked were: learning interesting things that were also
fun to learn. The second thing I enjoyed was going to sleep. Two
things I didn’t like were: walking and the hot weather that
made, for me, everything harder.
I liked learning new things because I really like studying Romans but
most of all I liked learning about the Vesuvius. I like learning new
things but only if I LIKE them and they interest me. I really liked
“exploring” the houses and looking at what was preserved
in them. I liked going to bed because after all that walking I
couldn’t wait to go to sleep.
I didn’t like walking because when I want I can be very lazy
and that was the case. I didn’t enjoy the hot weather that, as
I said before, made, for me, everything harder: walking, carrying
bags and made it difficult for me to concentrate.
This trip, I have to admit, was better than Arte a Parte. I really
enjoyed this trip and I think my classmates liked it too.
