The
Trip to Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum
I liked the trip to
Mt. Vesuvius because we got to buy a box of rocks and some necklaces
for us and our family and some earring and other thing for our moms
and sisters. I’ve never climbed up a volcano before in my whole
life! Even when we were up there I thought that Vesuvius was going to
explode right on our faces but luckily it didn’t.
The other thing that
I liked about the trip was the hotel we stayed in. It looked so nice
and big! Even the rooms we got were so cool! We got to go to other
people’s rooms and it was so much fun! Also the beds were so
comfortable and there was a restaurant where we could eat breakfast
and dinner. It was a big three star hotel.
What I didn’t
like was that we did a lot of walking and it was tiring! I was
sweating a lot and my legs felt like as if they were going to
collapse but at least I carried on. Also when we were climbing Mt.
Vesuvius I was always behind because I was so tired and sweaty.
The other thing I
didn’t like was that we weren’t allowed to take any
electronics except cameras. I wanted to take my Nintendo DS (double
screen) but I wasn’t allowed to. I like to play games a lot
because I am so interested in them.
