Dear Parents,

Welcome to Kinder! We hope you’ve had a wonderful, relaxing summer and are as ready as we are to start our exciting year!

During the holidays, a few renovations were made throughout the E. C. department, creating beautiful, colorful classrooms that are now ready to host your children on their new school journey.

We would also like to welcome our new teacher Spring Berlandt who has joined us this year.

Here are just a few notes to help you organize the start of the new year.

Our school day starts at 8:45 and children should be accompanied downstairs to their classrooms or the E.C. garden. There is a different teacher on duty every morning: the list will be posted on the door at the start of the corridor. If your child enters the building after 9:30, please see Gigi (school nurse) or Ginger in the atrium. Please try to be on time.

For the start of the school year the children will need:

1. An art smock or big, old shirt / t-shirt for art lessons and messy activities.
2. A bag with COMPLETE change of clothes. Please make sure that each item is clearly labeled. You can find good easy to apply labels at www.easy2name.com
3. A lunchbox or small rucksack with you child’s name clearly written on it.
4. Please remember to check the daily schedule so that your child is properly dressed (gym shoes, comfortable clothes) for P.E.
