DEAR READER,

My name is Oliver. I went on a parachuting trip with my friend. I did not know where he was or where I was and I did not know where to go.

Finally it was finished, I was out of the cloud and then I looked down in horror! There I was looking down at the open ocean, it was terrifying.
I thought I would definitely drown. Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little patch of land. I finally had some hope, but then I thought it would be literally impossible to reach the island. I was so far away that I couldn't understand what was happening. A huge frosty gust of wind blew me towards the island.

I was so relieved but the only thing that was worrying me was that every gust of wind kept on bringing me towards the island but it was also lowering me towards the water. I was almost at the island but I was twenty meters from the water. Then I was ten meters, five meters, two meters, SPLASHH!!!!! I was in the chilling water but I was also fifty meters from the island.

I knew that I could at least swim that far. I was too occupied swimming than worrying about sharks and jellyfish and all the other dangerous sea creatures. I finally arrived at the island, I was too exhausted to get up and explore so I just fell to the ground soaking wet, soggy and shivering, and then I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up when I felt something poking me in the back. I jumped up, it was just a flock of seagulls. I remembered I was on the vast empty beach.

I was very hungry, I needed something to eat. Looking around I saw a black figure down the other side of the beach. I could not make out what it was. I ran down the other side of the beach. There in the shallow water was Chang, he was unrecognisable, he was totally fried up. His parachute was still attached to him. I dragged fried up Chang onto the beach. I could bury him or burn him or I could eat him. I was really hungry so I chose curtain number three. I presume you do not what to know how I ate, but he tasted like chicken.

I washed his bones and then I took his clothes and his parachute and made a tent to live in. The weather was hot and humid during the day and cool and breezy during the night.

Every day I went to pick fruit and any other sort of thing I could eat.

So far nothing has happened to me but I must always expect the unexpected but please dear reader

Come and save me!!!
