Maskmaking at Ca'Macana

Years ago we discovered this wonderful shop and decided it would be a great hands- on experience after their busy art history schedule. The students participate in a mask painting workshop given by the shop's owners Mario and Antonella Belloni, the students learn the history of masks in Venice and are taught a variety of techniques to create their own unique Venetian souvenir.
