Students will be introduced to rules of a modified soccer game, learn to pass, and retrieve the ball.

Students will review basic rules, learn to pass and stop the ball, and aim for a target with accuracy.

Students will review skill taught in grade 2 and 3, develop their kicks, and will learn weaving and dribbling skills.

Students will review skills taught in grades 2-4 and will learn corner kicks and team strategies.

Students will learn different rolls, a half split, jumps, and leaps.

Students will review skills taught in grade 2, learn backward and forward somersaults, cartwheels, handstands, headstands, and splits.

Students will review skills taught in grade 2 and 3, learn horse jumping, and perform a floor routine.

Students will review skills taught in grades 2-4 and will be introduced to the balance beam, one hand cartwheels, and the back flip.

Students will be introduced to rules and learn to pass ball.

Students will learn to long jump, run relay races, disc throw, shot put, high jump, and hurdle.
Culminating Activity: an ancient Greek style Olympics.

Students will learn jumping, under, over, backward, and side wards activities. They will work with a parachute, hoola-hoops, ropes, bean bags, and the big ball.

Students will be introduced to rules, passing, receiving, and aiming for a target through modified games.

Kick Ball: students will learn the bases and positions and will learn to pitch and pass with accuracy.
Softball: students will learn to pitch, catch, and throw the ball.

Students will review and practice skills taught in grade 4 and will learn corner kicks and team strategies.

Students will learn aerobics, relay races and play Mr. Octopus and the "Parachute" game.

Students will expand on the complexity and duration of the activities learned in 2nd grade.

Students will be introduced to game rules and will learn dribbling vs. carrying, bounce and chess passes.

Students will review skills taught in 4th grade. They will learn game strategies, and also learn about fouls and foul shots.

Students will develop team building, listening cooperatively, trust building, and leadership skills.

Students will learn how to carry mats, blindfolding activities, and participate in group discussions.

Students will learn artificial resuscitations, RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and H. Manoeuvre during First Aid simulations.

Students will invent a game with rules in their homeroom grade and teach it to their peers during P.E.
