This organization began in Italy in 1989 to help sustain and support families with children that are HIV positive. A representative comes each year to say thank you to the students and to take the gifts which are distrubuted to children either in the hospital or at a party at the Arche Association.
Each December, we ask each child to bring in a small, new toy,
( book, crayons, stuffed animal etc.) costing about Euro 10-15, gift
wrapped and with the package marked for a boy or girl.
The toys that are being
collected by Father Christmas are given to the Arché Association which
helps hospitalized children here in Rome. This
organization began in Italy in 1989 to help sustain and support families with
children that are HIV positive. A representative comes each year to say

This is the 12th year that
we are presenting “Father Christmas in Reverse”. As each
child gives a gift, Father Christmas will give a small present in return! It
is lovely to see the children’s excited faces and to know that the gifts
will make such a difference to these ill children.
We want to thank you for helping
us support others in need. We do feel that this event is important for children
to truly understand what it means to give a gift to a child in need.
We look forward to this special event
and send our holiday greetings!
