Pane Condiviso

For the past 4 years the Primary department has adopted Pane Condiviso as their charity. This is a non-profit organization that operates since 1983 to give humanitarian and economic assistance in developing countries. Their operational site is in Udine and they work with organizations in Haiti and Peru. Their main goal is to support programs aimed at preventing children from being abandoned by their families. They provide food and instruction, recuperate children from the streets,  and also provide housing and assistance to the elderly and people in need. Love for those children who have been abandoned to the saddest misery is the engine for all the volunteers who are at the heart of this organization.

The primary department was introduced to this organization through an Ambrit family who has collaborated with this organization for years guaranteeing their seriousness and supporting their goals. There are several programs and projects in Haiti, and the primary department has chosen the programme that gives hope to young girls 8-12 years old who live on the street. This program recuperates these girls from the misery and dangers of street life, gives them a place to live, an education, warm meals, love and hope for the future.  In order to support this programme, we have organized two bake sales, one in October combined with the pumpkin sale or contest and one in January for the Chinese New Year. These two events allow us to make enough money to support the yearly quota to support 10-12 children for the year.  Throughout the year other events such as music concerts and the drama festival ensure the continuation of our contribution.
