- The students explore the
question "How much do we waste each day?" and the
impact of waste and pollution on our
environment.

- At the end of each lunch
serving, the students divide everything left; paper,
plastic items and leftover food are placed in
dedicated bins.

- The fifth grade students are
responsible for collecting the recycled paper boxes in
each classroom on a weekly basis.
