Ambrit Choirs

Junior Choir is open to students in Grades 4 and 5, Thursdays from 3:45-4:45 in the Music Room. Rehearsals are important! We do concerts both in Rome and away.

Treble Choir is open to students in Grades 2 and 3, Mondays from 3:30-4:45. We sing a winter concert and at various school events. Choir has a one-day trip out of town in the spring. Occasionally we are invited to sing at special events in embassies or other important places, so we take our rehearsals seriously, but we also have a lot of fun.

The MAIS Honor Choir is open to highly motivated musicians in choirs of the schools who are members of MAIS. Singers are chosen because of their fine singing, seriousness toward music and exemplary behavior. Honor Choir takes place for 5 days in March. This year it will be in Morocco; other venues have been in Madrid, Rome, Tunis, Rabat, Barcelona, Valencia, Casablanca, and Lisbon.

Women's Choir is open to all moms, teachers, former Ambrit students and friends at no charge. We sing a mixed repertoire, practicing once a week Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45.

Middle School Choir is open to boys and girls in Middle School, Mondays from 3:45-4:45. Singers perform at school events and out of town. This choir performs at school events, local venues, and it takes a 4-day trip out of town in the spring. Singers in this choir are eligible to audition for the Honor Choir of the Mediterranean Association of International Schools.

Ambrit has an extensive choir program. Choirs meet only once a week, so don't miss the rehearsals! Our choirs have sung at various Italian schools in Rome, in Todi, Monopoli, FAO, St. Stephen's School, ICFair at John Cabot University, U.S. Embassy, Auditorio Sinipoli in Rome, and in Scotland, Genova, Florence, and Milano.
